The Cooks River Restoration Project is a series of infrastructure works to progress the improvement of water quality, access and amenities and increase native vegetation throughout the catchment.
The total project is valued at approximately $23 million with $10 Million in Federal funding via the Urban Rivers and Catchments Program and the balance being provided by Cooks River Alliance partners: Bayside Council, Inner West Council, Canterbury-Bankstown Council, Strathfield Council, and Sydney Water.
