CMP Proposed Management Actions

The Cooks River Coastal Management Program (CMP) is grounded in a community-values driven approach, using value themes identified through broad stakeholder engagement as a foundational framework for shaping management actions.

The CMP actions will be categorised by value theme.

Each action put forward in the CMP is measured against these themes, ensuring that interventions are both targeted and meaningful, directly addressing the values and concerns voiced by the community.

The Community Feedback Hub has been created to gather input from the community on what matters most within the catchment, inviting residents to highlight both valued areas and concerns, as well as to propose practical solutions for enhancing the health of the river and its surrounding environment.

Currently, the project team is progressing through Stage 3 of the CMP process. This phase focuses on identifying and evaluating a suite of management options, each tested for how well it supports and enhances the value themes.

The Feedback Hub will be reconfigured once a Draft CMP has been developed to provide another opportunity for community feedback to shape the Final CMP.
